Our philosophy is to actively encourage the participation of partners and team members in all types of charitable projects.
In April 2008, funds were sent to Ethiopia in order to finance the construction of two dams in the outskirts of Alitena, a small village located on the border with Eritrea whose people suffer from malnutrition caused by the lack of cultivable land and adequate drainage systems. This project is supervised by the Adigrat catholic diocese and financed via the Spanish charity
Nuevos Caminos.
In July 2008, one of our partners participated in a cycling race from London to Paris over a period of three days, covering a total distance of 600 km. As frequently happens in the UK and other Anglo-Saxon countries, our partner decided to raise money for charity as part of the event, inviting friends and close colleagues to collaborate and sponsor his participation via either
UNICEF or
The Smile Train. The race was followed kilometer by kilometer by all in the office and was supported by many of ourselves and our clients. In addition to the live information flows (via our partner's blackberry), we were also able to access full details and results of the race and the money raised for both charitable organisations.
